Pray for our family as we have been hit with the flu bug. Adam was really bad this weekend, but he's back on his feet. Heather has been achy but back at work. I've been okay just tired and achy, but not bad. Luckily Jake hasn't been phased by it. We all started taking Tamaflu after Adam got it and we think it probably helped.
I wanted to thank all the guys that came to the house this weekend. For everyone that couldn't make it you missed a great time, but don't worry we plan on doing these every couple of months. We had a couple of my neighbors and friends that some guys brought with them. Hopefully we can get some more guys that aren't involved with a church to the next one. The men in our church need more opportunities to socialize, and meet some new people. Hopefully we can take from this and get together more often.
I wanted to THANK everyone for the donations for Rays this weekend it was truly a help for their family. Please remember that this will be a continuous situation for at least 6-7 weeks. They will need meals and money(gift cards) for awhile. Either make a donation during the offering or I can get it to Keith and Rebbeca. Continue praying for strength and faith for their family.

crissy and i have long said that the guys need opportunities to get together. the ladies have friday nights at crissy's, but the guys don't have anything like that. ya'll need it too. it's very good for you.
Man night was great. We need the home brew guys to come up with a batch for the next time!
I'm really glad things like this for the guys is opening up too. I have been wanting it for Brian for a long time. I think sometimes he feels disconnected from church, especially with all the "female gatherings" that go on between us girls. He'll try to make it to the next one!
