So far Heather and I have made to 2 parties for our pre-Christmas festivities. We have 1 more that we may or may not go to, depends(on whether I go hunting or not), and then the fun begins(family get togethors, UGH). Although, we did have fun at her Christmas party...Heather was a little tipsy...it was fun..then she sobered up. She was fun about 7PM then she was hurting about ohh 9:30...and then I was a little "happy". One day will get on the same page. She still wouldn't dance with me...I don't get it. I'm a dang good dancer too! Did a little break dancing a little worm, ya know the usual. But notta from Heather...she did bob around a little bit, still cute though. SO, I had to go find a dance partner somewhere else.
My office party was nice. They gave us all gifts including the wives and we had cajun and beer. Now, that's a Christmas party! Unfortunately, it was on a Thursday so we had to get home early.
I'm trying to talk Heather into a adult only party at our house...could be a Christmas Party could be a lets get toghetor and have fun party...doesn't matter to me. The time though, Christmas takes up all your time. And everyone has something to do...so you may be the only ones at your party. Unless, it's New Years! Light bulb...now to convince Heather.

Poor Heather...I feel her pain. I don't have very much alcohol myself because I get tipsy way to early in the evening! I would love to have a Christmas party, that would be so fun. But we'll be out of town until the 26th. What about New Years? Mmmm...beer and cajun. Sounds like Brian's kind of night. He keeps asking me when the manfest will be. Please give me some kind of answer because he's making me crazy.
You need to learn how to drag it out...we started feeding her water so she didn't go to sleep...then she was ok. I'm thinking maybe Super Bowl weekend for the "manfest" as you like to call it...But I would like to have a New Years party...Hey, Auburn/slash new years party...ding,ding,ding...Now that's a good idea..

Hey, I'm with ya on the family get togethers-UGH is right! Anyway, a party sounds great! I just laughed while picturing Heather's party-her tipsy, you dancing..Yes, we must have a party so you can show us your moves, except maybe not the worm!
I'm sick of the family get togethors...have to go to her Dad's Christmas Eve, Christmas Breakfast the next morning, rush out of the house to make it to my Mom's that afternoon...too much food...too much togethorness..why don't we just let the kids enjoy themselves that morning...and we all get togethor and PARTY..
I'll break out hte worm on ya'll and do a little cabbage patch and then break it down with the running man...oh yeah..
I'm laughing so hard at your dancing and trying to get Heather to join you. Why do I picture you as a Chihauhau? And her standing, looking at you with her eyebrow raised, saying "no way". Hilarious. If you have a party, I have to see you dance!

i totally forgot to add a comment about the dancing. that is enough for a party in my opinion. would pay money even to see all the men break out with the "worm"! someone needs to bring a boombox and roller skates.
you have GOT to let me know when the party is so I can be a fly on the wall for the dancing. I would love to see all the guys a little buzzed and dancing. Worth a cover charge.
I'm not cutting your dancing. I've never seen you dance. Perhaps I need convincing. Your wife finds you a girl to dance with every year? She's a better woman than me.
Alright, maybe chihauhau is not the best comparison. I think I'm thinking of something I saw in a Bugs Bunny cartoon...

I can't dance. Actually, I can dance choreographed, cheerleading, 1-2-3-4 dancing, but I have no capability for improvisational dancing. I love anything involved with 1-2-3-4 dancing. That means I can learn it. I CANNOT drink and do those things though. Don't hold liquor well and I laugh too loud. I'll have a nice drink and watch others dance. From the safety of a comfy seat. Without embarrassing myself.
BTW... yes, I do love choir. Connie is a great director.
I'm still trying to talk Heather into a party..she's not buying it..I didn't say it was a good worm but I can hold my own. To keep from havingto dance Heather usually finds me someone. THis year I she didn't have to most of the women know she won't dance and we all just dance togethor. I think this year the were more concerned with getting her to dance...she did get out there a little..I'll give her some credit for trying a little this year.
For Kim we'll let her do a cheer...as long as you can work in "whostheman" somewhere...(but you have to say me)....the reason I said that about singing is because the second the music started you were grinning form ear to ear..like the chesire (sp?) cat...not a bad thing...just something I noticed..

just holding you accountable, matt, that's what i'm here for! yesterday i had lunch with ginger (you know after i was done "working") and trace called her. he told her he had nothing to do and she suggested to go do something, i forget what, and i suggested he do like you do and just blog. we had a laugh about it.

love huh..yeah..Heather doesn't blog...she want..she was kind of surprised I did...but I've got ALOT to say...jsut full of weird things...but she isn't into it..she hadn't even hardly read mine the other day unti lshe stopped at GInger's...oh you know that part...that's when you made fun of me...:-(.....seriously she stays pretty busy at work and when she get's home she usually finds ten other things to do..she's a phone or email kinda gal...loves her some phone conversations...email her she'd like that...plus she works in Leeds you could visit for lunch.
